Uys’s eight years of industry experience, spanning broadcasting, energy and mining, has allowed her to make practical contributions to class discussions. She has also filled in the skills she was lacking in Finance and taken on several subjects including Human Resources and Strategy.
“I have enjoyed many of the subjects, but by far Operations Management and Supply Chain Management as both are more practical and tangible,” says Uys.
“As much as I’ve enjoyed working on Strategy both here and in consulting, Operations and Supply chain have shown me a more detailed side, which I must say I enjoy as it’s closer to "reality" for me.”
